Changes are coming!

There won't be weekly english note anymore, english will appear here from time to time depends of my mood. And this is first change, the other one is involved with music. I’m gonna try to put on my blog one new song every week, it might be funny, and it will help me a lot in the end of the year when I want to chose song of the year ; )

So, according to my new idea, song of this week is Chromatics – Lady. Great song from great album called Kill For Love, and I think, this album might find its place on my future list of best 2012 albums. Highly recommended to listen!

Weekly english note vol. 6

I wanted to make a small tribute to Leslie Feist, my favorite singer (or even favorite woman) last time. I have decided to draw her, but my skills of putting picture from my mind on digital paper, as it turned out, are very poor. The result you may see below, it's only a sketch cos I'm tired of trying to turn that girl into Leslie, and I think I'll start again from the begining.

Finally I made top for my blog! Maybe it isn't what I really wanted, but for a start it's quite good. I will work on that...

Weekly english note vol. 5

Dreams... funny thing, that silly night dreaming can easily mix up in your head. For example nightmares, a lot of people hate it, but still they are watching scary movies to feel fear, however scary movies are never that scary as our nightmares. Fear in real world can be controlled, I mean fear inducted by a movie or sth, but when you’re dreaming, everything is out of control, you think it’s real.

I love my dreams, even scary ones. It takes me to another world, another reality, and sometimes it can even be inspiring. I have that repeating dream that someone is chasing me, it takes some time, and finally I understand that I can’t run forever, or there's no place to go and I have to kill that man (or monster) but my knife (weapon is always a knife) is too short and I can barely wound him and he also are trying to kill me but I have a lot of luck, and strong desire to live, to survive so he can't, and it turns to neverending chase/fight till I wake up. Maybe sometimes it's terrifying but it also gives me some thrill and I like it, sometimes it even has a very good plot. I’m curious if it means something. I’ve read that dream about running away, and having no possibility to escape, means trouble... we will see;)

Also curious thing is a dreaming about persons, sometimes in my dream appears my good friend, with who I do not have any connection right now, I can even say that he was my friend and now he is somebody that I used to know = ) sad but true... I think in this case, he is in my dream cos I miss him, and it's true, it was great to be around him all this years at university.

I’ve heard that you can train your dreaming skills. It might sounds ridiculous but they said it works. Apparently when you achive high level of dreaming (sounds like RPG;)) you are aware that you’re dreaming and you can do whatever you want. It’s very interesting and I think it’s worth to try.

It was another busy week, so again I couldn’t write anything, but now I have some time, so be prepared for something more this weekend from me, maybe even today cos Juventus have another match tonight.

Weekly english note vol. 4

Hello again! Last ten days were very intense, that’s why I did not put anything here. But today I finally have some time for myself, so I can spend it on my blog.

Some time ago I gave you info that I’m going on a M83's concert in Warsaw, I even wanted to make a big report after it, but when I was in Warsaw, few minutes before the show I heard that the band stuck on a road cause of car accident. I think you can’t even imagine my furious. I’ve wasted a lot of time and have spend a lot of money in Warsaw and day before in Cracow to finally see the one of my favorites bands acting live and they told me that the show is cancel... the worst day in this year for now. And what is even worse, M83 played in Poznan one day later. I do not belive that was a car accident, they have probably had a huge hang over and have decided to cancel a concert, but it’s only my opinion.

Ok, enough of that complaining crap. Today in a few hour Juve will play against AC Milan on San Siro. I’m very excited, it is like always a very important match, but this time Juve has a real chance to win the league, and also if they win today it will be their third victory against Milan in this season. Milan will play without Ibrahimovic and Boateng, but even without them they are very powerful. I’m gonna watch it so maybe I’ll write something in the half time and after the game but this time in polish.

Last thing for now, I want to share a great song which I’ve discovered few days ago. It's called Hoshi Neko, and the band’s name is YAMANTAKA // SONIC TITAN (very interesting band!). That really great song is combined with an amazing video (I love that kind of animation). I highly recommend it!

Weekly english note vol. 3

Hello everyone!

Outside my window is a huge layer of snow what can successfully thwarts my plans. I need to do something outside, but falling snow not helps me. Anyway... I had a little break of blog, probably cause of my holidays, all what I was doing was listening music (in fact I’ve found some nice albums, I’ll probably write about it later) and drawning, but mostly sketches, nothing fancy, so as you see there was nothing to put here. Even today I had no idea what to write but later I watched two matches. First Parma Juve – boring! 0:0, I am very dissapointed! Second (only secondo tempo unfortunately) Milan Arsenal – great show of Rossoneri, 4:0! finally Italian team put some energy to bring Italian football on higher level in european ladder, bravo! Now is Napoli’s turn, they have to prove that their third place in Serie A last year wasn’t a coincidence, and they still can fight as equal with european best teams.

Weekly english note, vol.2

Again in english! As you can see in the title, it’s gonna be weekly thing, and I think it’s good because it forces me to work. Anyway, I have holidays right now, we have a break at university, and of course I had to get a sick, I feel bad, my throat is killing me, and I’m doing nothing spending all day in front of my laptop, listening music. Music is of course one good thing in this madness. Btw. last days I’ve discovered very nice band, its name is Sleep Party People, they are from Denmark, and will perform at the Off Festival. I’m really satisfied of what they’re doing, it's a very nice mix of electronic and guitar, interesting style. Below that post I’ll put some videos of them.

Sitting at home cos of that ill, I finally found time to watch tutorials of Feng Zhu. He is well know in market designer/concept artist, he has a school of design in Singapur, and via YT he shares his knowledge. If you like such things, his channel is here.

Last thing for today, in the evening on San Siro AC Milan will play against Juventus in Coppa Italia’s semifinal first game. I’m counting on Juve, but I know it’s gonna be a tough match. In this season Milan has problems with good opponents, they lost so far with Inter, Juve, Napoli, Lazio, but Milan is Milan, you always have to be prepared for a big battle. Juve in the other hand is still unbeaten, and against tough rivals they are doing great, so i’m not worried. I have trust in Antonio Conte and his vision of football. I hope to see tonight Alessandro Del Piero, he do not have many chances to show his skill this season, and I know its killing him, but I know he is still good player with good condition, and he can proove it in this match!

In english

As i wrote last time, this post is gonna be short, and -as you may observe- in english. Why I’ve decided to do such thing? just for practice, and I think I will be doing this from time to time.

Sorry but first thing what I wanna do now is complaining. I’ve just finished all my exams, 2 of 4 I passed, for the rest I still don’t have results, but It’s not a point. I’m just curious why my artistic and creative mood is always appearing only when I have to study, only when I have an exams? Few days ago, when I needed prepare for some tests, I had a lot of ideas, I wanted to create illustrations, I wanted to write some stories, and now, after all these tests... nothing, I just hang around doing nothing and wasting time. Maybe I had too many ideas and I couldn't find myself in it... and now I think I should to do a schedule, it may helps.

I’m quite sure that I wanted to write about something else, but in this very moment I have emptyness in my head, my mind likes to be tricky, and its memory managing is not that good as I want it to be. Anyway I may mention a little about Lana’s Del Rey new album. Few days ago I wrote I’m gonna listen it, and ofc I did as I said. For now I can only say that it is quite nice album, but nothing special, just good pop music, just bunch of fine songs. Below is my favorite one from "Born to Die".
